About the Wine
The North Coast AVA encompasses many small wine appellations spanning over six counties located north of San Francisco, including Napa & Sonoma. Our Pinot Noir Rose is made up of fruit from several different smaller AVAs, including Sonoma Coast, so identifying with the larger North Coast AVA is perfect for this blend. This Rosé is made in the Saignée style, which translates to “to bleed” in French. This is when you “bleed” off a portion of the red wine juice after it’s been in contact with the skins & seeds. We saigneed this Rose from our Pinot Noir, then fermented the juice in a stainless steel tank. The finished wine was bottled in July 2025.
