Pinot Noir is often called the "heartbreak grape" for its delicate nature and the care it demands in the vineyard. It thrives in cooler, coastal climates, like the Santa Lucia Highlands AVA in western Monterey County, where long, temperate growing seasons and Monterey Bay influences produce exceptional Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. This vintage is sourced from the 5-acre Manzoni Vineyard, perched 150 feet above sea level. Back by popular demand, we're thrilled to once again share this member-favorite Pinot Noir after its last appearance in 2018.
If we could describe the 2024 harvest season in one word, it would be smooth. The season moved quickly once it started and beautiful weather continued throughout. Overall, the quality was outstanding and we can't wait to see how the wines develop! Once the fruit arrived in Oceanside, we destemmed and processed it here on site. The grapes then fermented for about 2 weeks. After pressing, the wine was aged for 14 months in French Oak before being bottled in December 2025.
